The lineup of performers and visual artists for our fall season is stacked with the talent and diversity for which Latino Arts is known. Staying in your seat is not an option during these unforgettable performances featuring the energy and expertise of Sammy Figueroa and His Latin Jazz Band, the electricity of Chicano rockers Quetzal, and the elasticity of funk/jazz/Latin dance music stars José Conde y Ola Fresca. |
Enjoy, Experience, and Expand Your Horizons! Exhibitions scheduled for the Latino Arts fall season will include the work of local photographer Eddee Daniel, a collaborative exhibit about the Mexcian Lottery by Colectivo "La Malagua," Latino Arts' Annual Día de Los Muertos Ofrendas Exhibit, and an expansive collection of pyschological narratives from painter and print-maker Ramiro Rodriguez. |
The Immigration Series continues with a discussion featuring Nicaraguan poet Ernesto Cardenal and moderated by O. Ricardo Pimentel, Editorial Page Editor for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The event will begin in the Latino Arts Auditorium on Monday, September 15 at 5:00 p.m. Also, don't forget to sign up to attend our Noche de Gala fundraiser on Saturday, September 27 at 8:00 p.m. featuring live music from Angel Meléndez & the 911 Mambo Orchestra. |
